Shovelhead Salloon in Danville Illinois. It is in an old warehouse, you ride your bike right into the bar and park it! They have great parties throughout the summer, last weekend they had live bands all day, eight bands and twelve hours of live music. Not to mention affordable drink prices and more bikes lined up than I had time to take in.

WOW! The Shovelhead sounds like the best one so far... ride into the bar? Too cool! Now, I just need to find a date on the calendar and head to IL!

Ride safe! [sm=biker2.gif]

Having lived in mid, western VA for the last three years I don't think there is a good bar here. What I am used to (from where I grew up) are bars that served three or four brands of beer-- required that two of them be "Bud" and "Old Style"and two types of booze, bourbon and scotch. The only thing that I can find around here are eateries that also have a bar and a beer is $4.50.

Hey XL1200N,

Maybe I'll see ya down at the Chromie one night... I love that place. But they both ROCK. And, from now on, I'll be riding the right brand of bike.

Whether you like to tip a few or not, what are the best biker bar's in your town?

In Minneapolis, the place to be is "The Joint" near Cedar/Riverside. Here's a link to it if you're interested: http://www.thejointbar.com/

Any other great places to add to the list in case I pass through your town?

Thanks! Keith [sm=icon_guiness.gif]

P.S. - I am in no way encouraging drinking and riding... I simply like biker bars, the people, and the machines.
Yup, THE JOINT rules... I've been there last summer and really enjoy it...

The best biker bar I found in Saga in Japan. It was so small that withfour normal grown riders the bar was full. It wasn´t a big party, as you can imagine, but we had fun the hole night still the sun was rising again and I had to go to the airplane for my homeflight.
