I think I'm about mid-way through on this bike, lol. I've got a little list and I'm checking them off as I can. Love this thread! Nice looking Sportsters out there...

You have the same idea I like. Can you name your mods and parts? Of course, I won't get the exact same, just an idea of what I need to do. Thank you.

Sure, man. I don't know if I can remember all of the details (manufacturer, etc.) but I'll come back and edit this once I find everything. Here's what I did, in order:

V&H Short Slants exhaust
Roland Sands Clarity Line Black Ops air filter
HD swingarm solo bag
Removed reflectors from forks and rear fender
Blacked out side rear fender reflectors with black 3M reflective tape
Pop-up gas cap (Arlen Ness)
HD drag bars w/1" riser
Removed front fender
Relocated front signals
Removed belt guards
10.5" short shocks
2" tank lift (DK Custom)
Relocated coil (DK Custom)
Relocated ignition (DK Custom)
Wire tuck (best I could do)
HD solo spring seat w/mounting kit
Spike grips/pegs (Eddie Trotta Design) with clevis conversion
Sweet LED headlight (Custom Chrome)
Removed exhaust heat shields, wrapped pipes titanium (new gaskets)
Removed rear signals (probably not pictured)
R-B-T LED strip under rear fender (DK Custom)
Spike front axle caps (I'm a dork and I don't care)

There may be a couple other little things I'm forgetting. I f*ck with it all the time. I have a few more mods planned in the coming weeks but I'm nervous about them because they involve the grinder. I will relocate the speedo next probably and I'm going to do something different with the license plate frame. The last mod will be the paint. I'm waiting for it to all come together first. I've gotten a lot of inspiration from bikes on this site and some on Pinterest. I'm glad to share info with everyone and you can cop this look as long as you don't live within a 150 mile radius, lol. I like it when the tank is markedly the highest point on the bike, and right now the speedo is competing for that space and kind of screwing with the line I'm going for. I don't want to lift the tank any higher because I'm already only getting about 50 miles before my gas light comes on. This bike (obviously) was designed for scooting around town and not the long haul, but still - nobody wants to ride with me because I have to stop every half hour. But I digress. Hope this helps out! Here's some pics with a couple of the latest mods, the rear signals removed and the LED strip, wrapped exhaust.
