Agree...bought my 2011 at 52k and still running great, but I do maintain it. Price depends on your location and laws of supply and demand. Dealer gave me a 5 yr warranty at 52k which kinda tells you that Sporties are solid bikes....and you know they are in the business of making money. Although I worked on carbs before i.e. rejetting, etc., I am not a carb person so prefer EFI.

I'm from Chicago, and I have 3k cash at the moment, I mean I could save for more but I just don't really wanna spend too much when I've never really had a cruiser before so i mean who knows if I'll stick with a cruiser, but idk. How difficult are the rebuilds on the 883s or even after the upgrade to 1200? I can't imagine is be spending more than a grand or so on a rebuild if something does go wrong?
