Too bad they dont have a hardcandy paint. Doesnt the gray fade like carzy? I have seen some pretty beat nightster. But that is a sweet option for someone who doesnt want a 48. Its def better then a 48.

Love the seat. Hate the rear fender.
Love the inverted fork. Hate the front fender.
Love the wheels. Hate the exhaust.
Love the tucked-in headlight. HATE the integrated risers/bar clamps.
Love the 1200cc engine. HATE the engine color.
Some rear-sets, would make it more awesome-er.
I want one. Dang it. Not ready for a new Sporstster. Maybe a used one, in a couple years (said that about the XR1200, too).

Thumbs up

I agree, it's a fine state of affairs when customising a Sporty will require providing longer fenders front and rear, as well as adding a tacho! Lower bars and slight rear sets, a 2-into-1 system, or those upswept oval-track pipes? Needs a complete paintjob, but I think it can be done.....

Love child of a 48, a nightster and a XR. Not liking that seat but I bet it corners pretty well.

I used to have an '06 Roadster (XL1200R). Made some changes on it: shocks, fork springs, strut covers, belt guard, fork brace, slip ons, grips, mirros, NRHS a/c. I'm much more comfortable on my FXDF though every now and then I miss it.

I do like the seat and forks on this new one, be interesting to see how the market will react to it.

Here's my old one:

Dang, I had been thinking about picking up a used Iron, but this takes care of most of the Irons' shortcomings...I think it is a great looking Sportster, the only thing that I think I would change fast is the bars, would like mx type and a little higher.

Just got this in my email ...

http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...#!key-features

The Moco has FINALLY done it right. It's a master stroke ... Bringing the iconic Roadster back with so many improvements such as 43mm inverted forks, dual disc front brake with floating rotors, cafe-racer inspired aggressive stance, optional ABS, side-mounted license plate and so much more ....

One look and you will fall in love ... at least I did.

Doc, that's nice - well done.

Clip-ons and rear-sets? Of course - doesn't everyone have an inner sport bike rider, lookin' for a way to get out? Buttercup at rest (she passed her annual inspection yesterday):
