Take one dollar less than the write off. Fix the bike.

 

As some of y'all know, a year ago my bike was totaled. Labor will total any bike. I wasn't having none of it. I swindled out a deal on labor so it wouldn't be totaled. no frame damage, just parts and labor replacement. The LAST thing you want is a salvage title. Not due to value, but coverage and license period. You can work with the adjustor on labor. They only know numbers.

I did it because I wanted to fix "my" Harley.
