Sportster tire rubbing turn signal but after lowering
put some burly slammer shocks on my 2003 sportster 1200 and now the tire is rubbing on the nut for the turn signal on the right side. I'm pretty sure I have the spacing for the rear wheel right. It looks like the bike was laid down on the right side. Maybe the fender struts are bent? I can't figure it out so I figured I'd try this before I take it to Harley. Any input would be appreciated

I had burly slammers and my right side bolt/nut was also rubbing the right side...plenty of space on the left. If you already adjusted the wheel spacing as far left as you can go and you are still rubbing, then there are a couple of other options. For mine, adjusting the wheel was enough so it did not rub and still have good alignment.
The first is to relocate your turn signals. For mine if I recall correctly (it was a while back), it was the strut bolts that were rubbing, not the turn signals. Since I have bags, I had to relocate the turn signal off the struts. You can also try reversing the bolt so the allen head is on the inside and the nut is on the outside.
And as suggested, pics would help. Good luck.

Happened to me...
1992 1200 Sportster, same issue. I reversed the bolts so that the flat part of the screw faced inward and that way the length of the bolts didn't rub anymore. I also moved my light forward, closer to the shocks, and got rid of the rod that extended the lights out. I bought a bunch of new screws to the exact length I needed and it doesn't look messy at all! I didn't adjust the alignment cause it was perfect when I lowered it and I didn't want to mess it up. Here's a pic...

I had this on a sportster I changed the rear tire and for some reason it rubbed, the reason turned out that the tire was slightly wider than the OEM tire and it was low enough to rub on a bolt, and I also found out someone had lowered the back end with lower shocks, the only cure was to put the original sized shocks back on, the tire was finished.
