[pics] Windshields and Nightsters don't Mix!
 

Just installed a windshield on the Nightster. Hmm, I'm not diggin' it. I tell ya though, it sure makes going down the freeway at 70+ a little more comforting. Even this small windshield prevents me from being bucked around by the wind, what a difference.

Like most Harley riders though, we're all a little vain regarding the look of our bikes, you can't deny that. In this case, I'm thinking vanity wins. Someone has to protect the reputation and image of the Nightster.

I am not a windshield kind a guy, but I dont think it looks bad at all. Give it another week or so to grow on ya.

I ride 60 miles round trip every day to work and wouldn't go a day without it. But I got the full quick detach style so it only take 5 seconds to remove for rollin around town on the bad @$$ looking Nightster. :D

P.S.

There is aHonda Element in your driveway and your worried about the WS on your nightster looking bad??

I know what you mean. I'm a windshield and saddle bag kind of biker and as much as I love the Nightster they just don't go together. On my 1200 C it's o.k. but not on the Nightster. Because of that the only way I could own a Nightster is if it were my second bike.

I run my windshield for protection, not looks. I don't care what other people think of it, they are not the ones riding my bike.

Yeah, wait until you see the Element without the windshield, that one is going next. And while I'm at it, the windows are coming off the house. Top that!

I'm not big on windshields myself... but that doesn't look bad at all.

Looks good...If it bugs you, sell it and get the detatchable one. Use it when you need it, take it off when you dont.
