Default Gauge Relocate

Guys who are running them, Whats the best set up/product for a sporty 48. Last thing on my list of things to do before spring time but just so overwhelmed by the different brands, prices, set ups.

Harley tried to sell me a joker machine one but said it would'nt work due to the 49mm fork on the 16+ 48s?

Pics if you gottem!

Edit- Looking to lower it to the lower left of the tank.

I used the auto meter bracket and it works great:

Uses the mounting bolt from the tank. I can still clearly see up to about 60 mph which is perfect for Minnesota (there aren't a ton of roads over that). Totally clears my bars with "under-mounted" mirrors. I also picked up the Joker Machine top clamp to keep the dummy lights where they were.

My bike is different than yours ('04 883 with 3.3 gal tank), but I'd imagine it would sit pretty much the same.

Here is the kit I used:
Amazon Amazon

Here is the link to my write up:
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...elocate-2.html

One of the big factors on determining which kit to use, is do you want your gauge rotating with your forks or do you want your gauge to be fixed. Also, do you want the indicator lights to move with your gauge or top mounted. I chose top mounted indicator lights because that is where I want to look for turn signals and when finding Neutral. That is what works best for me. That is why I went with the Joker Machine top clamp w/indicators. I love the look of the side mount.

I See how close your fork is to hitting the gauge and you have the 39mm fork. I have a 49mm fork and I think it would definitely hit if thats how close yours is.

Not necessarily. But even so, you can do what I did and just expand the hole. Once it's tightened down, it ain't going anywhere.
