2012 Iron 883 won't start
Howdy guys-
Last year (November) I started to have my issues. My bike started kind of tough. I went for a ride came home parked it. Did some things around the house came back out and it would start. Just clicking noises. I put it on a trickle charge for about an hour and it started back up.
I took it to storage put it on a trickle. Not to deal with it for some time.
Fast forward to today. I take it off the trickle charge, it fires right up. I drive it home and park it on my street. I come out an hour later it starts up and I drive it to the wash. As I'm cleaning I notice I left the ignition on. So I turn it off. After I finish washing it I turn it back on and nothing but clicking again
So, thoughts?
I have it back home on a trickle charger but I'm thinking it might be a bum battery.

Your battery is 5-6 years old if it is the original battery.
After being on the tender overnight, what is the battery voltage?
Turn on the ignition / lights for about 15 seconds before measuring the voltage.
100% charged should be about 12.8 volts.
Take your battery to your HD dealer and have them test it.
You should have about 200-250 cranking amps from a fully charged battery at ambient temps. I had about 150 cranking amps in my battery last fall, it would strain to turn over the bike but it still started. I replaced it and have had no more issues.
