That's flat-out factory race bike workmanship on that machine shrini. I've been an 'XR' fan going back to the San Jose mile races back in the late '70s and that bike is probably the sharpest late model XR I've ever seen (and that includes viewing hundreds and hundreds of online photos). You should consider having a large poster printed out on that one.

Beautiful, did you mod the tank or is that an aftermarket one?

Hey, I got one of those! :-)
I wonder if they'll be worth anything in like, say, 30 years.

MoCo made less than 11000 motorcycles ever.
Truly one of the best ever HD made but the production was cut short unfortunately coz it never fit the cruiser bill or sports bike coz of top end heavy.
I'm one of the lucky & rare creature who still owns, loves my XR and keeps putting stuff in them.
Pics for you guys
Love those bikes and regret not shopping around before I got my 2012 48. Would have had a chance to get one had I went to the HD dealer in the next town over. I hope to find one still in the future. Sweet ride you got there!

Do you have headlights from a Ulysses on yours?
Vrod headlights look pretty good on an xr also
