Sportster 2004
Hi Guys
Sportster 2004 farted a few times on me the other day also running a little rough, after further inspection i think i found the issue, looks like the gasket is done on the intake to carb, is this an easy fix, even though i am not overly great with mechanics i want to learn, worse case i will have to pay someone to put it back together
Looking at videos online it doesn't look terrible but wondering if i should also do the other 2 while at it.

If u are planing on wrenching on your bike id suggest picking up a factory service manual for your specific bike. It is worth its weight in gold. That being said a carb to motor mount isn’t a hard job to complete at all. Just take your time and enjoy the satisfaction in knowing you can complete tasks on your own.

I'd follow Dsrieth's sound advice of obtaining a service manual (paper or PDF). You might also consider buying 2 sets of intake gaskets if you plan on replacing them yourself. I recommend doing this for 2 reasons; 1 is that you might not get it right the 1st time and, 2 is that these gaskets are know for failing on a somewhat regular basis (i.e. it's not a bad idea to have spare set on hand).
