Thread getting old but I had Scorcher start to come loose a couple of times, too. They also barely made 7500 but did have heavy load over half that mileage. I check pressures almost every ride and daily on the road. I went with Pilot 4 but had to use GT version on front because only way size available in US. I was very happy with them on a metric and still am on the Sportster. I would have seen if Storms came in right size otherwise. With kind of mileage and no rain riding of OP I would look for something cheaper than my option as others have mentioned--anything round should work.
