Yes. I came from all japanese bikes, parallel twins, inline 4, etc. You may not feel it due to the rubber mount, but when you lean to the side and actually look at the engine, it looks like a paint shaker. Lots of movement and bounce, translates all over the engine. Totally normal and smooths out almost instantly when you get rollin.
Dont overpay from a dealer, lots of good used sportsters on CL now.
So True. I just bought a 2013 Sportster 1200 Custom from a guy that lives near me. Clean title, runs perfect not a scratch on it, 355 (Yes, 3-5-5) miles, already has a stage 1, for a fraction of the price!
Be careful financing that old of a bike. If you pay more then 3500 or so you will be upside down from an insurance perspective.. Yes rubber mounts shake.
