Default Two Questions...

First, I have a 2003, so can I do the following:

1. Put a newer 2004-2007 4.7 gallon tank on my 2003? I like the bigger look and fuel capacity.

2. Can a new rim be mounted on the back and a 150/80-16 rear tire be installed like the newer 2003-2007's? The current tire is 130/90-16. I like the look of the new wider tires better. Or, can I just mount the wider tire to the current rim?

If anyone any knowledge of either Mod, please let me know.

Thanks,

My partner has the same bike and a 150 wont fit. A 140 will.

The 04's and later have a different frame so the tanks won't fit. I have seem some dyna style tanks on Ebay though that are suppose to work. Seems they were like 4.2 gal.
