Haven't done it myself on the Front. But everyone I talk to that uses the Progressive Fork Springs, swears by them, not at them! They all say you don't even know you have issues with the front suspension until you install the Progressive Springs.

I have no experience lowering a Sporty, but I used the Progressive kit to lower the front of my Softail 2". I have had no issues with the front bottoming out, and it rides great (the back is a different story). I realize we are comparing apples to oranges, but just felt it necessary to vouch for the quality of Progressive springs in general.

Good catch...that bike is already looking pretty low. You already got a lowering kit on there?

I lowered both front and back with no BIG difference. The back makes the most difference. I didnt buy new springs for the front I just loosened the bolts that hold the forks on and dropped lower (bout 1 1/4 inches) and I didn't notice any difference when riding it. I think that would be a better idea than getting new springs because you still have the same suspension but the front end just sits lower on the forks. The rear is just the stock shocks at the lowest height, this made the difference in riding quality.

Progressive Shocks and Springs are a MAJOR upgrade. I went with the Progressive 11" shocks on the rear and man it rides like a Totally different Bike. My Buds who have went with the Progressive lowering springs, and the ones who went with the standard Fork springs all swear how much better the bike rides and handles. I am planning to do the Progressive Fork Springs soon, I will not lower the front however.

Not toa Sporster, but to my 06- Dyna.

Progressive 418 (11,5") back and Progressive front lowering kit (1" lower).
Handling and feel is much improved. No bottoming out, softest setting is a bit harder than OEM.

I am very happy with them.

as you know I have lowered mine front and back using progressive spring and shocks. I just recently changed my fork oil also and switched to belray 15weight oil. I would highly recommend using this oil also, made a big difference over the harley oil I had in for the last year. I have some pics in my gallary if you want to see some more pics.

Just have the progressives in the back. Dont find it that low, guess the picture was taken facing down. hell i dont know haha
maybe im putting too much weight on...

what i really want is the front lower and raked just about 5 degrees more but i am not getting anything cut,
so i was thinking about the front suspension.
