Default Aftermarket switch locations?

Looking to add a set of on/off switches, but can't quite nail down a solid location. Id like to mount in a discreet but accessible location.
Interested in what everyone else has done.

1 switch for a set of bar end indicators that I have as run/turn. I’d like to be able to run them just as blinkers during certain times.
1 switch for a new headlight I just ordered. Would like to shut the headlight off and run just the halo.

The headlight bolts directly to the underside of the speedo housing & eats up a lot of the real estate. Makes it kind of awkward to fiddle for a switch. I've looked at the handlebar clamp style switches but I feel like my bars are already too cluttered.

Looking at maybe these locations now. Possibly the battery cover with the switches having quick disconnects, or, possibly hiding under the tank somehow near the spine. Switches would point straight down.
I like the thought of having them drilled, and fastened properly into the battery cover. But, I don't like having wires dangling on the inside (and the irreversible drilling into the cover).
On the flipside, I like the idea of underside of the tank but cant think of a good way to fasten them properly.

Just ordered these. Can either use the bracket attached, or pull them out and use them individually.

Time to play the waiting game. Still waiting on the new headlight as well.

those could mount easily under your tank left side rear bolt..............i like that spot only cuz my petcock is there ( i like my carbed bike) and close to something i would reach for , if mount without bracket could be tricky to push......with bracket would be solid in that spot

HD sells some aux switch housings and switches for them that attach to the handlebars. The housings hold 3 swtiches - one part number for the housing is 70248-02B, switch pn is 71718-02

Thanks for the link @John Ha, I didnt realise that set existed. Those look really good & I like how they are a Harley OEM, but, I think I'd still rather something off of my already cluttered bars. My bars are only 27" wide so there's not much real estate left on them. If I had the money (and patience) the bars would be completely naked. Everything internal with set of mini motogadget indicator switches.
