Iron 883
Hi guys.
I’ve 2 problems with my 2013 iron 883.
1. The low fuel light stays on constantly.
2. The engine randomly turn off during my ride. It’s quite dangerous.
Need your help to solve the problem.
Tqvm in advance.

1. Is it the stock speedometer?
I've seen some references here to a bad fuel level resistor that is located under the battery cover / under the seat.
I would check the wiring connector closely first before ordering a part.
2. Do you have any codes?
How to check - https://www.fuelmotousa.com/p-29661-...ble-codes.html
Just remember a code(s) does not always mean a failed part (many times it is a poor connection to the sensor)
For O2 sensor codes it can be intake or exhaust leaks and not a failed O2 sensor.
Check your battery connections at BOTH ends, make sure they are clean and tight.
(there are two wires connected to the battery ground, one goes to the primary cover back side)

It is also fairly easy to test the switch in the tank with an ohm meter or continuity tester and some petrol.
The plug is behind the engine, in front of the electronics. You should be able to trace it from the wire coming from the tank.
The Yellow/White and Yellow/Red wires are the switch.
