I was jsut turning around the shocks on Scootergrrl's bike and I noticed that the shcok had rubbed a small part of the belt guard. Would you say that this is due to wheel alignment or what? I'll get pics of it later. The sporty is fun but I am glad I have my softail.

 

If I remember correct there is a spacer on the belt side, did you put this on when installing the shocks?

 

In addition to the spacer, the bottom eye on the shock is offset. If it is mounted "inside out", it will rub.

 

I didn't mount them, bought it with them on the guy I bought it from had it done at the stealer...[:@] Thanks for the info.

 

I just put progressive's on my bike last week. The shocks came with 2 spacer kits. mine don't rub.

 

There is your answer, the teck probibly threw the spacers in the garbage because he was too smart to read the directions.
Take the belt guard off, there ugly anyway.
