That's one hell of a gust of wind!

Have a mustache bar on wife's 48 special and it looks like it should be there , plus it kept bike up when it was dropped .

Yes it was one hell of a gust at Wainstalls in the Yorkshire Pennine hills with an elevation of 1440 feet, It is so windy there that it can power these huge wind turbines. There are a total of twenty of them.

I remember seeing this style fairly often in the ‘70s. They suited the owners’ needs.

Do Sportsters look good with engine guards?

No, it`s a SPORTster.

They don`t look good with windshields, bags, fat bob tanks, or anything else hung on them either.

I have a Lindby bar on my '99 1200 S. It might take away from the looks of the bike, but when I had a slow driveway tip-over a couple years ago it saved the tank which is irreplaceable.
Funny how that bar looked so much better afterwards! Plus I love the extra riding position it offers.
