Default Sportster Regulator Wiring

I am building a custom motorcycle using a 2006 Sportster motor. I am using the same year voltage regulator. Both regulator out put wires are black and there are no indications on the regulator about polarity. Are these out put wires not polarity sensitive? I know if I had a stock loom it would just plug in but I am doing my own wiring loom. Any suggestions or advice?

If you are refering to the 2 black wires that connect to the stator then no there is no polarity. The wires can go either way. But the output wires are black and red if I recall on the 2006 regulator. There are 4 wires correct? The earlier models only have 3 wires. All black.
