Check out the article I posted on painting these covers a couple weeks back..you'll be suprised at how good you can make these look with some effort..and it aint that hard. My covers are now color matched and the bike has a whole different look..plus I just put on a set of wing tips..should be a post on in a few minutes about how to put those on.

Hey, I found your thread and I do like that. I was thinking about doing that, but with black. Now I have to think twice as I might go with the silver to match the bike. Guess I'll be shopping the paint section at the local parts store!

You can also add Pin Stripes to the cover..the vinyl ones from the auto parts place..then clear coat over them..just a way to add color or match up to the tank and such on your bike.Did you look at the post towards the end??There is a guy with some side covers he wants to sell.>>>Post pics to show us how you did it and how it turned out.Good Luck>>David
