Default tire upgrade

Hi, I have a 2001 XLH 883 with 80/90-19 front and 130/90-16 rear as original tires. My question is can I upgrade to 100/90-19 front and 150/80 B16 rear on my next tire change.? That is with no modification at all, will it fit with no problems? I find the original tires too skinny. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

The 150 rear tire will not fit without mods on a 03 or older bike. I believe the 140 is thi widest you can go.
Not sure about the front.

My friend put a 140 Avon on the rear of his 2003 Sportster and when he rides two up it rubs the bolt inside the fender.
