RE: fact or fiction, weight in the tips of handlebars
i want you to just throw an arm up in the air and fling it about. done? see how easy that was?
Now hold a 10 pound dumbell and try to do the same thing. Not so easy this time, eh?
more weight kills the vibration by making the bar harder to fling around.

Come on, Gary. Your grips are off. My understanding is that you get 3 rolls of pennies and tape 1.5 together along with a piece of picture wire so you can pull them out later if you want. Put some silicone on the rolls and slide them in and you're done. I didn't have time before crap weather and now my bike is in the shop with the heads off. I'll do it in a month or so.

It would be easy enuff to test, tie the penny rolls on the grips and see. Sounds like it would take 5 mins. I am against reducing the vibes, but I did find that my SE ign lessened the vibes in my bike...
