Default My 59 XLCH replica

About 15 years ago I brought a chopped 59 XLH and decided to make a replica XLCH. Unchopped the frame and found some front forks and wheel used early Evo tank and seat, made coil ignition mods to a magneto shell. The engine had been stroked with K flywheels, gearbox had a new set of gears and repaired cases (result of stroking?).
Sold it before I got it running as I did my back in so electric start only now.
A 'static video' - picture of it.

Default 05 883 XL replica

Thought I would try a modern Sportster so brought a 05 883 and decided I would try and reproduce something like my XLCH replica, see above. Restricting myself to bolt-on only.
Used a 70's front mudguard/fender SE air cleaner, Triumph Scrambler fork gaiters. The back end of the bike was a problem as the modern Sportsters are not very slim, like most of us the middle bulges with age! The fatter tyre and small wheel could have been improved with 18" rim but did not want to spend the money.
I suppose that is why most replicas are of the touring models and not the comp models.
A 'static video' - picture of how far I got with it before I brought a 90 FLHTP instead.

Hey guys, I figured I'd post a little walk around of my bike. This will do until I can get some bucks for a GoPro or something and get some actual riding video.

Nice bike. How much does that particular kind of trike kit run for a sportster?
