And as for weight, about 45-ish (+/-) lbs. You'd be surprised at how much removing some key components
That's quite abit. So does the bike come in well under 500lbs?

Well, dry weight is just a little over 500 lbs. from the factory (about 510 - 515 with fluids), I'd say it's right around 470 - 480 ish right now with fluids. I've swapped a couple parts, so I'm not entirely sure exactly what it weighs at the moment. A few months ago I had it at 471 ride-ready. Haven't been around a scale lately to check it out again.

They make a monitor that you can test your A/F mixture yourself. The optimal or stoichiometric A/F ratio is 14.7 to 1. I now have a headache and am going to rest before I hurt myself.

Yep, Andrews N6 cams, stage 2 883 heads (modeled after Buell XB12R's --- just decked for a bit higher compression), adjustable rods, 10:1 wiseco reverse domes, .030 over, Zipper's belt to chain conversion, Hi-4 ignition, and topping it all of a 6 speed Baker gear set. I'm also going with a dual disc setup off a 1200R and a Sprotor from Flyrite running a 16" 160 or 180 rear tire and a 16" 130 up front.

I've thought of upgrading to the Zippers Buell head kit with fuel injection, but I don't wanna screw with mapping and computer chips on what will eventually be a bare-bones rigid. Everything will be done about this time next year, I'm just getting all the parts and doing it all at once to save myself some trouble.

Now you'er talken'. I like those cams. Great steet rod cams. Who ya havin' do the head work? What kind of numbers ya goin' for? You'll need that weight from the dual breaks to help keep the front on the ground. Man you really got me goin' now!
