Default RE: indexed my plugs

Like I said...I'll either find my old dyno sheet with the old A/F curve or just do two runs next time - one with them indexed, one without. The slight changes I made weren't enough alone to fix that curve by themselves.

I never said it didn't help to rebuild the carb. I basically said all of those little things combined were what did the trick.

I'm gonna call my buddy tomorrow and see if i can get in within the next couple weeks. Then we'll know for sure I guess. But based on my personal experience, I'm sticking with what I said. It helps. Even if it's only doing a tiny bit to improve things, that's still doing something.

Fair enough. Make sure you post the results I'm curious what you find out.

I indexed my plugs and didn't notice a difference until I moved my right leg away from the air cleaner, then the difference was noticeable. I'll always make sure that my leg isn't shrouding the carb.

There is a difference in lighting something from the side or from the center. Yes it will still burn, but when your burning something in a round cylinder. Even pressure is best or more efficient.
