Not a Sportster but...
I saw this earlier and decided it's pretty much my favorite bike ever. THIS...is a bobber.
Now I just gotta find one, and being an old Flathead, it's probably gonna be damn near impossible to get ahold of a complete basket. I'm thinking maybe my winter project after my motor is all finished up this year? Was gonna do a Fatboy sled but then decided I don't really wanna dump money into a late model. Older bikes are more fun anyways. It's between either a Flathead or a Panhead at this point. Knucks are too effin expensive because they were so damn rare. I'd love to own one, but it's not in the cards at this point.
I can't wait to see my garage a decade from now .

RE: Not a Sportster but...
seems to be a lot of these in the New England area for some reason, since the population there was large after WW11.....
My biggest HD regret, letting a 61 pan get away when times were tough....not original, this one was in a rigid...BINNY

RE: Not a Sportster but...
Well if you catch any on craigslist or spy em in your area for sale, drop me a message on here with a link. I'm kinda waiting for the right one to come along. I at least want matching cases that haven't been screwed with or split and rewelded. Hell it could be a complete rust bucket, as long as the engine is there and mostly original, I'm interested.

I can't even phantom what they could want for this.

BUILT ON THE FIRST DAY OF PRODUCTION
1936 Harley Davidson OHV Knucklehead. One of the earliest numbered knuckleheads in existance. Probably built on the first day day of production. Fresh correct restoration of a complete true bike and has never been started since being restored. This machine has been featured in and on the cover of Gregg Fields "Harley Davidson Knuckleheads".
