With inspiration from DE nightster, I just rigged up an LED stop/turn light. Modified a flexible LED strip to work as a stop and turn light. Mine's on the fender edge, DE nightster mounted it under the fender. I think it looks good, and the more light the better... I ride in city traffic a lot! Check it out...

Cool mod, but I would have mounted it under the fender's edge. That way it would be almost invisible until actually lit.

 

I considered that, It actually looks better in person than in the pics, and I kinda like the red on black look... I can easily move it if I change my mind though

 

My only other concern is the turn signal part. A distance shot at night with the turn signals lit would be a good pic to take to see. May be a little confusing. I definately like the brake light part of it though. In that respect, you're right. Can never have too much.

Still, a good mod to do. I've always wondered about the lack of a centered brake light. But I've not heard of any Nightsters getting rear-ended.
