Have you tried getting a Clymer manual?

I have one for my 2011 Iron, a fairly comprehensive manual for about half the price of a genuine H-D manual, it is this side of the pond anyway.

There are two manuals, one the owners manual, the other the factory service manual. They both have useful stuff about your bike which will help when servicing it. When doing any servicing they really should be your first source of info! You may be able to download an owners manual from the H-D website, go to the Owners tab. Note that on-line digital copies of H-D are illegal, as they break copywrite laws, and promoting websites offering them is against HDF rules - which we have all signed up to!

Hiya BluePatato! I just joined the forum and immediately jumped on your thread about Sportster maintenance. Yeah, after 10 years a lot of the links may have been moved. It happens. Is there a more recent list. I hope so 'cuz you made a great list and I dig learning how to take care of my bike.
Peace and God bless!

Hi y'all I'm new to this. Just curious how accurate the very first post is for a '95. Is it basically the same or is there a significant change between the years. Thanks in advance

Careful chaps and chappess! PDF files are all illegal and promoting them on HDF is agin the rules we all signed up to when joining. H-D doesn't issue digital copies of their service manuals.

Unfortunately any links to other websites are going to break down as and when the other website makes changes at their end. The older the message you read, the more likely it is that the link won't work. Man hasn't yet invented the self-healing link yet.....
