I've lurked this site a while before deciding on my bike. Thanks to all who chime in around here. Seems like a solid crew and I learned enough to know to buy as close-to-stock as possible and lowest possible mileage. [sm=smiley14.gif] \\;So, after 15 years w/o a bike...I just picked up a bone stock 2005 XL1200C garage queen w/1900k on it!
 \\;
I found a set of SE2 slip-ons (mint) used for cheap and got them on, no problems. The bike sounds damn good now. I'm gonna pick up an AC and carb kit this weekend to wrap up the Stage1.

Thanks to all who contribute to the forum. \\;[sm=icon_cheers.gif] \\;It's good to be back in the saddle!

Welcome from Mass. I guess the lurking paid off...good bike, good deal. \\; \\; Aside to Keith...doesn't that fork bag rub on the fender when you hit a bump?
Never had it rub before, but it's cinched on there pretty tight. \\; It always holds an atlas, and typically holds phone, wallet, and keys, and sometimes gloves. \\; I'd guess about 2 pounds of stuff, and no issue.
