concrete has no grip in my experience. maybe its crappy L.A. roads and freeways, but any turn on concrete makes my bike slip, and when i hit the throttle the tire spins before it picks up grip

I must have jumped the gun and maybe I was dragging my pipes instead of the footpeg. I checked the footpeg and it doesn't have any wear on it. I'm not sure what I've been dragging in that curve now, I know I hear it scratching though. I guess the exhaust may be the most likely candidate.

Check the mounting bolts/nuts on the underside of the mufflers

After i got my forwards on my 1200N i dragged my brand new short shots my first time out because i didn't have the long *** indicators to warn me. it's an awesome feeling to drag a peg though... finally using all of that rear tire instead of just the middle

i was pissed at first but i kind of feel relieved like the bike is officially broken in and i don't have to worry about how perfect she is, cause she ain't anymore... she's special baby with scratched up pipes!

not for nothing but sportsters are pigs ie. slow and poor handleing, dragging the pegs is no biggie they aren't meant to be sport bikes.

most "bikers" are squids anyways.....look at the sports bikes in your neoghborhood and just check out the bitch stripes.....

Well that settles any question I might have had. I am not a real rider
