This is just a consideration, but I wanted to ask, is it possible to fit either a bobtail or 1200 Custom fender on the nightster? I do like the looks of the stocker, but I have always loved the bobtails. Let me know what you all think...

 

It could be done. I think a bobtail Nightster would look pretty kewl

 

bobtail nightster, now THAT is a unique and neat idea! and you can mount it easy. most accessories catalogs have a sportster version of that fender that mount with the stock braces.

 

Thanks for the input you guys. Yeah, I've always loved the bobtail look, but didn't know if it would fit on my nighty. Would I have to use a bobtail from another model (i.e. Dyna, old Softail, etc.) or do they have them for the sporties? I guess I coud look at my accessories catalog, huh?

Here's the link from HD that I was looking at putting the bobtail fender on my 1200 Custom. It says that it won't fit the Nightster, so you may have to do some research before getting it done. But I personally love the bobtail rear fender look. I am seriously considering adding it to my Sporty.
