Default Had my headlight apart today

to replace the bulb, noticed the reflective back of the light is cloudy, What will clean it without hurting the chrome? Windex or plexus?? I cleaned it some but was kinda afraid to try any chemicals.

I've seen older bulbs do that. I've never worried about it myself.

I figure the shinyer the reflector the better light I would have, you can reach in there with the bulb and defuser removed.

I've had the same issue with my headlight as well. I've used windex a couple of times to remove the haze from the headlight reflector and it works well...temporarily. The haze returns after awhile. I'd be curious to know if there's a better fix than this. Maybe some of the automobile windshield anti-fog stuff?

Why not use Windex to clean it, then apply a wax coat over it or shoot with with Clear Coat Paint Sealant?

The headlight lens and reflector are permanently attached to each other. The bulb comes out the back. Looks kind of like a short, fat bottle with the neck of the bottle being where the bulb fits. So the only way to access the inside of this "bottle" is by way of the hole where the bulb fits in. It is possible to get a finger or a dowel wrapped in a soft cloth into the hole to clean but to spray it with a clear coat would not work. Good suggestion otherwise.
