I think they are. They are faster than any standard Big Twin I've ridden from 74 to 96 and sound like a Hog so I don't know why somebody would turn their nose up at them. They just are not as comfortable, at least the standard XLCH type ones I've ridden. Hard rides but quick and sporty!
