Default 1200L seat - ouch!

Needed to put a few miles on the wife's scoot yesterday. Decided to do a day trek to Myrtle Beach to see how bike week was coming along. Its maybe 120 miles to get there. Long story short, the stock seat was murder. I think its tolerable for about an hour, tops. After that it is just plain painful. I get the impression this seat is all gimmick. They shaved padding off to be able to say its a "low".

I'm glad I found this out but feel like I didn't need to. I pretty much knew the stock seat had issues just by sitting on it without riding one mile. I had a Sundowner in the garage too that I use for mine when I ride 2-up. Should have thrown it on for the trip. Oops.

Anyway, for those considering the low, get it - its a great bike, like all the Sportys. Just know the seat is a hard ride.
