Default Fork Parts Question

What is the part called that sits atop the lower fork sliders (1992)? Mine's a chrome (?) ring/shell that has a couple of small dents in it and I'd like to replace it/them when I remove my lowers to polish them.

I've seen custom ones on ebay, called "Fork Slider Covers ", but I'm not sure that applies to what I'm talking about. Clarification?

Thanks.

Sometimes called fork boot covers or fork sleeve dust covers.

Default Cover

The Factory Manual calls it "cover" in the diagram. I would imagine they would call it a front fork slider cover.
