Enjoy the bike (I really debated between the silver/black or orange/black, liked both. I went with the orange/black but the silver looks awesome), stay safe, and say goodbye to any extra money you might have.

You sound like me a few months back, I came off a Star Roadliner which is a Big 113ci Bike. I bought my Nightster and rode it home, I almost turned around back to the dealer and was going to tell him that there was something wrong with it. It rode like hell compared to what I was used to. Well I put a little over 3k in two months on it, and now I love it. Its still rough as hell, but just so fun to ride.

ericb445 thats just how i felt i wanted to go back and ask them to check it out and see if everything was tighten good.
To everyone else: I will keep an eye out on ebay or craigslist for the forwards. I really thinkg they would help me feel better in that bike.
As far as the exhaust, what is the fuepack? Sorry for these types of questions but i really dont have a good knowledge of motorcylcle terminology. I wanna get an exhaust but is not my first concern.

For the seat i wanted to keep it as lo pro as possible, lepera had something like this or maybe even like this, not sure if they're the best but is kinda what i had in mind as far as profile goes.

I've been reading the manual and noticed something about the rear coilover(not sure about the name) is adjustable and we could lower or raised?? is this true. If i plan on taking my girl every now and then for rides should i do anything to it?

I torqued the bolt as much as I could by hand, then hacked off a piece on an allen wrench, slid it in the hole and used a crescent wrench to turn the allen wrench piece. Took about 30 minutes, but I got it tight.

guys i have a question.. i assume that having forward controls with the lever makes the gear shifting a lot smother?? My gears shift like a baseball bat smacking the home plate.

This is typical with sportsters and a frequent question of people new to sportsters.
