Anyone using this kit on their Sporty or should I use the HD crome kit.

that might just be better than the HD chrome kit for one reason. chrome adds just a little extra to the threads when it does get chromed making it really easy to feel like your striping it or not even being able to get it threaded...then you are also left with metal shavings to deal with because of you pushing the chrome threads threw.

polished just makes more sense IMO

I used the same kit on my 1200S. I think stainless is a better choice, wont rust in the long run and you can increase the torque values a tad. Don't forget to use some kind of thread lock. I have had them over a year now and they look as new.

I bought that same kit for my 08 1200C, looks great, you should have an inch pound torque wrench to do it right. They give you the torque with the instructions. I also used anti-sieze on my bolts not lock tight. 2500 miles no problems. Hope that helps. Ride safe.

I have used those cheap bolt kits from Ebay, they are good quality but you need to pay attention to the bolt lengths, I found a few that where not right.
