Default Miller Lite / Blue Nightster

I found this one last Thursday. 2008 with all of 11 miles on it. My youngest daughter had been looking to upgrade her 250 Ninja with something that could keep up with her husbands and my big twins. The dealer said this was one of 40 made and had been setting in a store window display for the last year or so. She had already made her mind up a 1200 Sportster Low or Nightster was her next ride. We decided, at $5,995 before tax & license, with a full tank of gas, the 2 year warranty and fresh dealer service, the price was to good to pass up. Friday morning I had a bank check cut. The son-in-law & I were at the dealer doing the paper work just after they opened. The scoot was out of the trailer & in its new home by 1:00. Yesterday afternoon the rain stopped just long enough that she was able to get 2 more miles on it. Now the od is up to 13 miles and she is pumped. We have already ordered a quick release windshield and luggage rack for it. She is one of those girls that don't like to eat bugs and has to take the kitchen sink with her on the longer day trips. Guess this one will turn into a cruiser and I'll be eating dust following behind. Now I got to work out the payment plan with her and as the money man, I'm not in a strong position.

Nice. $6K for a new bike. Can't beat that.

That's a really pretty color. $6000? I wish I had known before you did.

That is a sweet color and what a great deal! I am really surprised that bike sat at the dealer for so long...even with the slowed economy....
