still looking to trade my nightster spokes for your iron mags

There's no need to get your panties in a bunch. Like I already said, "I understand why you want your bike to look like mine."

Man I wish I would've known that you would've considered that as an option. I just pulled the 21" wire off of my 1200c. It's complete, straight off of the bike. Rotor & all.
I'd be interested in your 19" spoke & tire.
Don't want to be the negative one but you should powder coat your hoop, hub & spokes separately then relace the wheel. You may possibly run into issues balancing or "true-ing" the wheel.
And I second the red hoop & black spoke look. Sounds pretty cool.

I'm thinking you took a step backwards.
Before you bitch me out again, I own both the XL1200C and the Iron, along with an RK. I bought the Iron when I could have just as easily bought a Nightster. The reason I chose the Iron was because it was totally blacked out and came with those fantastic black cast wheels and small fat front tire.
The Iron was the perfect platform for me to begin modding compared to the Nightster.....In my mind(and the majority of the public), the Iron is what HD should have done with the Nightster to start with, but they only did it now because they saw what us buyers were doing with aftermarket stuff and they wanted to get in on the $$.
Sounds to me like you got "mod fever" going on but don't have a clue to what style and final design is best. At first you said you wanted the fat black 19" cast wheels, then you settled on a narrow 21" chrome laced look thinkin you will powercoat them black and be trendy....Friend, trust me, it ain't going to look right on your Nightster even if it's black.
I suggest you slow down and look at all the possibilities, then plan your mods out carefully with your final theme/look in mind.
But that's just me, and that's the way I think.
