Just pick it up, turn it around and set it back down.

Seriously though, it would have came in handy for my Ultra, but I wouldn't pay to put it on a sportster.

You would have to replace the entire primary if i'm not mistaken. I do know that harley doesn't make them for sporties. i could be wrong. Don't even think you could mod it to put that gear in. not enough room.

Don't let these guys bust your *****. There are people out there with disabilities who don't want to give up riding. I know a guy who rides with a prosthetic leg and has to have a reverse gear to assist him. Try this outfit...

The truth is you have to be in "decent" physical shape to ride a motorcycle. That's just a fact, if you can't operate the bike on your own you (or in this case your wife) are a hazard to yourself and others.

Are you kidding? The only reverse I have ever known was on the old trikes and side hack cop bikes that had a 3 speed - foot clutch and tank shift. That was in the early 1960's.Some trike kits have a electric motor for reverse as well, but if you can't push a light sporty back maybe you should consider other options.

You guys need to get out more....Most trikes have reverse including Harley Davidsons stock trike. Read his post...his wife is short....give him and her a break....
