Default Forward controls

I am only 5'5" tall and weigh about 138. Should I be a little concerned about shifting with forward controls? If so , can they mount cente4 controls? thanks

Yes at 5'5" they may be a little too long for you. Just try them out and see. If they're too long get some mid controls and sell the forwards. The forwards were perfect for my buddy who was 5'10".

Get mids. I'm 5'11'' and I hate forwards. No control. IMO.

Yes, mids worlk be a better fit for you. I had the 1200C w/forward controls for my 5'11" frame & they were perfect so it could be a bit of a stretch for you (not to disrespect).

I don't see how your height has anything to do with whether or not you would like forward controls. It's the length of your inseam that is in question. I'm 5-10, but I have short legs with a 29" inseam. I love my forward controls.

I am 5'4" and the forward controls are great. They are very comfortable, much, much better than the mid controls.
If you're not sure, go to a dealer and sit on one there.

Best thing to do is try them yourself. I love'em...couldn't ride without them. Seriously, I could not ride without them.

(I'm a lower left leg amputee and my fake ankle doesn't bend back enough with mids to shift. the forwards are no trouble at all. I like the comfort factor too)

Hey, good for you! You are making things work.

Don't know, you may already have them, but you will really like the mini floor boards. They are not much $$$ and install in about 5 minutes. I love mine and you may find it gives you more room to adjust and move that leg a bit.

I have forwards on my bike and I'm 5'8". I can put my feet up over the pegs or when I have my feet on the pegs then my knees are bent. I think you would be just fine. Also think about getting the HD solo reach seat-it looks great and brings you down and forward a bit. I have one and love it! it's only like $150 form a dealer.
