Default sportster mods

Finally finished my bike, just in time for thunder beach. It's an 05 1200C. I had it painted back in January. I added a crash bar and free flow air cleaner, and re-jetted to a 45 and 185 jet. I had it in the shop to change bars. I went with a 1200L speedo mount with 1" risers, and 16" Burley narrow glide apes. It's F'ing awesome. Hope you like the pic.

Looks much better man. I do not like blue bike, but you can never go wrong with black.

I'll tell you about luck. My daughter is an art major at Lander University. She did the designs for me. She has dated a boy for about 5 years now whos father owns a paint and body business. She did the designs on several cars he painted and entered into car shows. Since we will be family soon, all it cost me to get the bike painted was for me to take it apart and sand it. I owe him big time. Anyone near Aiken SC who needs paint and body work should look up South Carolina Collision Center.

Did you hide the wires in the bars?

Love the paint job! You could come up with some great color combinations in that design--crimson red with gray flames, gray with red flames, black and orange, black and blue, etc.
Perhaps with this family connection you can keep getting it re-painted each season??
