Ok, so I have made the decision to ride my bike back home but wondered about the route. I know how to do the big interstates (I35 & I80) but wondered if anyone has any experience on some of the back road which I have never taken...sort of a road less traveled type trip instead of hammering it out on the highway.

I would like to do this in one day each way if possible so that MIGHT limit it to going the "fast" route. Anyone with some good experience and ideas? Thanks.
