^^I think it might be. Bike is looking pretty good though. Is that a Rough Craft seat and pipes?

I love checking this thread every couple days. It allows very boring guys like me to steal the creative ideas from others and use them on my 48!

I literally just spent the last 3 days looking through this entire thread. TONS of inspiration, and every bike is awesome! Lots and lots that tickle my fancy.

After all that inspiration I only have one dilemma surprisingly! I plan on buying a new 48 in may after I get my license, and I know exactly where I am going with the bike other than the handle bars. I am torn between some sort of ape hangers or some drag bars, possibly clip ons if I can find a set. My issue with deciding is riding position, I like the look of both(more so drag bars) but I have no clue what the position would be like with drag bars, kind of have an idea for the apes. If any of you could be so kind as to post a picture of yourself or someone else on your bike that would be much appreciated. I am 6'3", and will be doing mostly highway riding(plus one point for apes!). Thanks for your help!

I am 5ft 6" with Licks cycles 10" Z bars and 1" loner Industries risers. Think they are real comfy for riding.

Thanks for the picture cpracing. I figure I will have a bit more slack in my arms then, but I am kind of liking how the riding position looks like, compared what the drag bars would probably be.

No problem, I didn't like the stock bars that were on my 48. I think they were maybe a 3-4" rise. My back always hurt leaning forwards. I am 39 years old though! Now i ride more straight up and feel much better. Well maybe back to having back pains again due to my 10" rear shocks, haha! They are a little stiff for my light 120lb a@s!

Yea I am not a big fan of an sore back, I slave over a hot engine all day at an automotive dealership, so I am thinking a bike ride home leaning forward isn't the greatest idea. If 10" shocks are a rough ride then the struts that I am thinking of swapping the shocks out for won't be much better!

Yep, they are pretty stiff compared to the stock 11" shocks. Not complaining though. It just rides more like having a hard tail now. I rode a Sporty with hard struts last year and it rode pretty rough as well. Look over comfort sometimes, haha! Makes me remember driving my low rider trucks back in the early 90's with no suspension and being 1" off the ground!
