Two questions for you.
1) is your tank flat/satin black and the fenders gloss or just the way the flash showed it?
2) Why is there such a gap between the rear tire and the rear tip of the rear fender? Again, optical illusion or did you raise the bike?
Thanks,
Mark

2) Gap is from the 13.5" Ohlins rear shocks I put on. When I sit on bike it sags 1" so the gap is less. One of the best mods I've done to bike for many reasons...

Well, here she is! Paint got finished up today and hopefully I'll be picking it p Tuesday. I'd appreciate any input you fellas might have as this is my first (but certainly not my last) bike, and I'd be happy to answer any questions. Pipes ( were on when I bought it and the seat was one my old man had lying around as a take off from his Crossbones), but here's a quick list of what's done so far (I'll get a bit more specific once I hunt down the packaging from a few things):
-Slash-cut shorty slip-ons
-1" diameter 10' mini-apes
-Arlen Ness dimpled grips
-black extended tubes and lines for the bars
-4.5 gallon tank
-"Live to Ride" air cleaner
-diamond plate seat pan
-red reflective tape over black on the tins with a few extra coats of clear for a smooth finish
Day 1
D-Day
And one at night to show the tape at work.
