On a permit, just like a car, it is okay, but it would depend on the state laws at what age this is acceptable. I know Illinois it is 16.

Nice. My dad rides but we live in different cities so we don't get to ride together too much. However, we've taken 2 week-long trips through the mountains together. Good times.

Thats about as cool as it gets.

My father was the one who got me on a bike when i was young. We would ride 2 up till i was old enough to get started on my own dirt bike.

Sadly he passed away before we were able to ride together on the street. My wife is now pregnant with my first son so i cant wait till i will be able to get him on the bike with me.

Right on man, that's who got me into bikes again. I always tell may dad when I get my own bike it's on. He never rides outside of Phoenix. Riding in Phoenix isn't that fun unless you head towards CaveCreek. That's a kick *** place with lots of bikes. Right on, it's great to share something with the old man

I called my dad earlier this year to get his thaught on me buying a bike, his response was, "Not till I get mine." He hasn't owned a bike since he was my age, mom made him get rid of it when my brother and I came along. We ride atleast once a week together and he's the best riding partner I've driven with. Gotta love the father/son bonding time.

thats awesome... when i was 16 i had a sport bike... my dad would take it out of the garage and hide it on me or simply park it in the street, with a "harley parking only sign" where it used to be in the garage... i got the hint
