Cheapest air filter here and most profitable. About $70 to make....

I was told that there wasnt a S&S for my 48...where did you guys find one?

Somebody told you wrong...it is available, the S&S part # is 17-0448

I found mine on ebay, around $190 + shipping as I recall.

This is not a pic of it on the bike, but i went with Mreed's write up and made a Autozone AC. I started scuffing it to get it ready to paint black, then i realized it was made of a copperish metal... so here is the end result. I will post a pic when its on the bike later this week!
