Default What do I need?

Iv been doing a lot of reading on here about exhaust, intakes, and tuners. I plan on upgrading the exhaust to Exotic Chopers Vortex, and maybe just a cheap little 4 inch round A/C. I was wondering if i need to get a Power Commander or can I just get the Screaming Eagle Tuner. I do not plan to do any internal performance just exhaust and intake. The rest of the things I plan on doing are just cosmetics. Any and all input is welcome. I hate beating a dead horse, but then again Im a stubborn Marine.

Don't buy anything from screaming eagle, unless you don't mind super high prices for sub par gear. If u change ac, u need power commander or tuner.

OK, PAR. Thats about it. Its mediocre at best with price tag that doesn't match. The only reason people drool over it is because its Harley's brand. The pipes...expensive. A good set of cycle shacks are probably the same quality and sound a whole lot better for half the price. the ac....expensive...and while it may increase power some...looks just like the ac you bought before....Obviousely if you buy the If i'm gonna shell out a couple hundred bucks for something, it better be functional AND good looking.

It all boils down to what you get for your money. And with screaming eagle, you get more name than anything else...theres lots of better and cheaper stuff out there...

As far as the SEPST, yes, it is a bit more money. But it is set up with a lot more options than most people will ever need. So yes, the other brands of tuners are cheaper and will probably be all the average user needs. As far as getting your money's worth, if you are going to race the bike, the SE tuner is worth the money. It all depends on what you want it to do.
