Which sissybar & backrest?
I'm trying to figure out what sissybar to get and I like the detachable from Harley so far, but as usual its pricey.
Needed:
Medium Low Sissy Bar Upright Medallion Style - Chrome - 52754-04 - MSRP US $94.95
Medium Low Backrest Pads - 52656-04 or 52656-04 or 52656-04 - MSRP US $59.95
Detachable Sideplates - Chrome - 53913-04 - MSRP US $139.95
Docking Hardware Kit for Detachable Sideplates - 53529-04 - MSRP US $39.95
MSRP Total - $334.80
nice to haves:
Sport Luggage Rack - Five Bar, Chrome - 53862-00 - MSRP US $134.95
Are there any recommended aftermarket models to check out?

The detachables are nice and I haven't had any rattles on mine yet (1200 Custom). I read somewhere that they rattle as they wear and you just loosen the docking points and rotate them so the plates have a new wear area and then retighten the bolts. You can do this about 3 times and then buy new docking points or put a few wraps of black electricians tape around the black plastic parts of the docking points. Check craigslist and ebay and your price will be about half.
